We left Myrtle Beach State Park about 8am. The weather forecast is for a really nasty Sunday; rain, thunder, etc. We didn't want to drive in that kind of weather. Got to the Cedar Island to Ocracoke Island ferry terminal about 2pm. In time for the 3pm ferry. It's a 2 1/2 hour ferry ride. Costs $30 for the motorhome. The ferry crosses the Pamlico Sound. White caps today; likely it will be worst when the storm hits tomorrow.
